Design system

The goal was to create an interface that, in addition to being clean and easy to use, reflects the atmosphere and colors of the landscape and closeness to nature as main characteristic of Norway.

The key colors evoke the sight of fjords and mountains, and determine the arrangement and sections of the interface. The additional color that facilitates navigation and indicates the most important information, links, and icons, refers back to the typical reddish-brown houses throughout the country.

Interface

Designing for mobile view was a key factor, since it is an application that helps users in free exploration of the nature, therefore it is essential to be able to use it on the go.

Differences can be discovered between the desktop and mobile view, adapted to the use and characteristics of each interface. On mobile phones, the design was made taking into account the smaller display and the navigation options provided by the device. The displayed information has been simplified in several cases, but this does not mean that the functions are partial or absent.
